Non-surgical blepharoplasty is performed without cutting, without removing excess skin or fat and without altering the muscle of the eyelids. PlexR®, is a device that forms plasma to sublimate the excess skin. It delivers its energy only on the superficial skin cells, without affecting deeper tissues, thus enabling the perfect plasticity of the eyelid movement immediately after the treatment. The result is immediate reduction of the excess skin on the upper or lower eyelid, as well as the shrinking of the excess skin in the external region around the eye. The benefits are also the improvement of the expression lines at the corner of the eye and the cheekbone (“crow’s feet”).

This blepharoplasty non surgical technique is defined as “dynamic” as it enables the practitioner to ask clients to open and close their eyes during the treatment. A typical session will last no more than 30 minutes and the tiny point-like crusts will fall off after 3 to 7 days. Depending on the nature and extent of the excess skin and area treated you may need between 1 and 2 treatments

Patients may experience some swelling and soreness in the treated area following the treatment. Any residual crusts do disappear within 7 days, and should be covered with liquid foundation. Can anyone have Plexr?

How long is each treatment?

Your procedure will typically take about 30 minutes depending on the area being treated. Topical anaesthetic is applied 45-60 minutes prior to treatment.

How does it feel?

You will feel a warm-hot sensation from each energy pulse. The anaesthetic applied reduces any sensation and makes the treatment quite tolerable. You’ll be able to describe the depth of the feeling to your practitioner, which will help to ensure the best possible results.

What happens after treatment?

Your eyelids will swell and be red after treatment. You will leave the clinic with a breathable camouflage make up on the treated area which will help the healing process, which you will use daily after treatment for approximately 7 days.

What will my eyes look like after treatment?

The marks from each pulse of energy will be visible (as tiny dark dots) and will start to form scabs which together with the swelling will last for approximately 5 -7 days. There is no pain or discomfort and once the scabs have fallen off your skin will be smooth and flat but still pink. The colour will subside in the days/weeks that follow.

How long do the results last?

Plexr non-surgical blepharoplasty results are permanent but the aging process still continues so you can expect 5-10 years.
